                     -----------------------------

Hardware requirements
---------------------

  CPU: 80386SX or 80386DX or 80486SX or 80486DX,
  coprocessor (MS-DOS only),
  1.5 MB of free disk space

Hardware recommendations
------------------------

  8 MB RAM (OS/2), 4 MB RAM (MS-DOS)

Software requirements
---------------------

  OS/2 2.0 (or later) or MS-DOS 3.0 (or later)

Software incompatibilities
--------------------------

  DLS cannot be run while SHARE.EXE is active (MS-DOS only).

Installation
------------

  1. Create a new directory
       
       md c:\dlskrib
       cd c:
       cd dlskrib

  2. MS-DOS:
 
       Copy dlskdos.exe to c:\dlskrib and execute it.

     OS/2:

       Copy dlskos2.exe to c:\dlskrib and execute it.

  3. MS-DOS:

       Add SET XRS82_PATH=c:\dlskrib               to   your AUTOEXEC.BAT.
       Add c:\dlskrib\shells to the PATH statement in   your AUTOEXEC.BAT.
       Add FILES=20                                to   your CONFIG.SYS.
       Remove share.exe                            from your AUTOEXEC.BAT.

       A swap file will be created in the directory given by the EMXTMP
       environment variable, which should be set in your AUTOEXEC.BAT.
       If EMXTMP is undefined, the swap file will be created in the
       directory given by the TMP environment variable. If TMP is undefined,
       the swap file will be created in the root directory of the
       current drive.

     OS/2:

       Add SET XRS82_PATH=c:\dlskrib                  to your CONFIG.SYS.
       Add c:\dlskrib\shells to the PATH    statement in your CONFIG.SYS.
       Add c:\dlskrib\dll    to the LIBPATH statement in your CONFIG.SYS.

  4. Reboot.

  Remark: c:\dlskrib can be replaced by any valid directory name.
