Basic Index Profile Settings

Enter the Profile/Collection Description and Documentation Root directory and specify its web site location, if one.

The Index Collection Description is a short description of your index.

The Documentation Root is the directory containing the files you want to index. You can type the full path or you can use the Browse button to find the directory on your hard drive.

If This is a Web Site or Home Page root directory is checked and URL of the files defined, index database will contain absolute location of your documents. That will enable distribution of QuestAgent applet and indexes without documents. User will be pointed to your web site to get a document.

If you're going to use QuestAgent applet on your web site remove the check from this option. Index database will contain relative links and be smaller in size.
